PROGRAM V6.jpg

Elyse’s work was selected to be read by Tisch Represents, an NYU Tisch alumni organization which promotes diversity in the entertainment industry. As part of the Tisch Represents HOLIDAY HACK, writers were asked to submit diverse scenes featuring LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC representation that otherwise feel as though they could be part of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Elyse’s scene, GAYER THAN CHRISTMAS, is a queer take on familiar Hallmark holiday tropes.

LOGLINE: Libby’s love of the holidays is put to the test when she agrees to attend a Christmas party as her closeted friend PETER’s date. There, she runs into her Christmas-hating crush, KATE, who arrives at the party with a date of her own.

Tune in December 19th at 9 PM EST/ 6 PM PST - RSVP  here to attend!

Elyse’s work at HOOKED

As the leading mobile-first streaming platform for Gen-Z, Hooked features serialized and MOW-like content for teens and young adults - or anyone who loves YA!

At Hooked, Elyse develops, curates, and implements ideas for short, feature-length, and episodic content for the Hooked app and HookedTV. Her scripted adaptations of Hooked’s TREVOR AND THE VIRGIN and TREVOR AND THE VIRGIN 2 have gained millions of loyal fans on social media, and her 5-episode fiction piece, DARK MATTER, was covered in Variety. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Elyse has helped Hooked develop short-form content that could be shot completely remotely - and has served as a screenwriter, as well as an executive producer, on various recent projects.

Elyse is perhaps most proud of HOMECOMING QUEEN, a feature-length LGBTQ+ script developed for the Hooked app.

Elyse’s work for Hooked has found a mass audience on Hooked, HookedTV, Snapchat, and TikTok.
