Elyse’s work was selected to be read by Tisch Represents, an NYU Tisch alumni organization which promotes diversity in the entertainment industry. As part of the Tisch Represents HOLIDAY HACK, writers were asked to submit diverse scenes featuring LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC representation that otherwise feel as though they could be part of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Elyse’s scene, GAYER THAN CHRISTMAS, is a queer take on familiar Hallmark holiday tropes.
LOGLINE: Libby’s love of the holidays is put to the test when she agrees to attend a Christmas party as her closeted friend PETER’s date. There, she runs into her Christmas-hating crush, KATE, who arrives at the party with a date of her own.
Tune in December 19th at 9 PM EST/ 6 PM PST - RSVP here to attend!
